Richard F. Frisch, M.D.
Dr. Frisch graduated from the MCP/Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia in 2002. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia in 2007 and his Spine Surgery Fellowship at the University of California San Francisco in 2008.
Dr. Frisch came to the Southeastern Spine Institute in 2011 after being the Co-Medical Director for three years at the Ochsner Spine Center in New Orleans.
Through active involvement in research and teaching, Dr. Frisch strives to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the betterment of his profession and to his patient outcomes. His primary interest is focused on minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of spinal disorders.
Dr. Frisch has authored multiple publications and book chapters, receiving several awards for his work. He has taught and presented internationally and extensively throughout the United States.
What is most important to Dr. Frisch have been his contributions and work at home in South Carolina.
In addition to his active clinical practice here at The Southeastern Spine Institute, Dr. Frisch has had the opportunity to serve as president of both the South Carolina Orthopaedic Association and the South Carolina Spine Society.
Dr. Frisch has been board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery since 2010. He is a member of the following organizations:
