Ms. Dawson enjoys working directly with people, whether to develop a diagnosis based on their complaints and a physical examination or to educate them about the lifestyle changes they can make to impact their health. However it happens, she uses her knowledge and insight to help people.
She is also driven to succeed. Not only does she seek out Continuing Medical Education (CME) events, such as the South Carolina Annual Spring CME Forum: Advances in Practice, but she attends national conferences as well, such as the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) Annual Conference.
After completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry — with an emphasis in Biochemistry and a minor in Psychology — from the University of San Diego, Ms. Dawson moved across the country. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). She made Dean’s List at both schools.
