Megan Wedekind, PA-C
Megan was born and raised in Bel Air, Maryland, and has lived throughout the southeast in Myrtle Beach, Knoxville, Charlotte, and Savannah before settling in Charleston. Megan joined the Southeastern Spine team in 2024 as a surgical physician assistant, working primarily in the clinical setting. She completed her masters degree in physician assistant studies at South University-Savannah in 2024. Prior to attending South University, she completed her undergraduate degree in Integrative Biology at Coastal Carolina University. During her time before PA school, Megan worked as a medical and surgical assistant. She also spent much of this time volunteering with Charlotte Rescue Mission’s Dove’s Nest program in order to help women in addiction recovery obtain their GEDs. Outside of work, Megan enjoys live music, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her Australian Shepherd, Natty Boh.
