Mrs. Blease is a South Carolina Licensed Physician Assistant, board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She has lived in Charleston for nearly 20 years. She has practiced pain management and comprehensive spine care for the majority of her career. She initially joined Southeastern Spine’s Pain Management Team in 2006. After nearly ten years in pain management, she transitioned to surgical spine care. In 2021, she was thrilled to return to Southeastern Spine’s Pain Management Team.
Mrs. Blease attended Presbyterian College for her undergraduate studies. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree of science in biology with minors in chemistry and psychology. Following graduation, she became a high school biology teacher. She taught public high school for two years and then began her Master’s degree studies at the Medical University of South Carolina. She graduated with dean’s honors from the Medical University of South Carolina with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
Mrs. Blease is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the South Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants.
