Ms. Eddinger is just beginning her career, but don’t let that fool you. She’s smart as a whip and primed to accomplish great things. Originally from the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area, she moved to Charleston to join the Southeastern Spine Institute (SSI).
She was impressed by SSI’s three-acre independent medical campus that includes two 22,000-square-foot buildings filled with state-of-the-art equipment, a pain management department, physical therapy facilities, three MRIs and South Carolina’s only accredited ambulatory surgery center (ASC) dedicated specifically to back and neck surgery.
Education and Background
Ms. Eddinger attended Philadelphia University, where she graduated Summa cum Laude to get her Bachelor of Science and Health. She stayed at Philadelphia University to earn her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Her Master’s project was a Childhood Obesity Presentation.
As part of her education, she participated in a series of clinical rotations that took her from Philadelphia to Vicksburg, Mississippi. This training in specific subspecialties included Surgery, Primary Care and Emergency Medicine. During this time, she immersed herself in the practice.
Board Certification and Associations
Ms. Eddinger is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants through its Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam. In addition, she completed the American Heart Association (AHA) training in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
She is certified in CPR. She also is certified as an Emergency Medical Technician. Finally, she is a certified lifeguard.
